Wavii Confirms Acquisition By Google

Wavii, the developer of natural language processing software, has confirmed its acquisition by Google, saying this moring that it will no longer continue to offer its service, but will by applying its research at Google. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The deal has been reported to be somewhere north of $30M. Wavii's software was being used to summarize and aggregate news.
