Ziosoft Acquired By Nantworks

Redwood City-based Ziosoft, a developer of software used for 4D and 5d medical imaging on supercomputers, has been acquired by Nantworks, a technology incubation and development firm run by Patrick Soon-Shiong, a billionaire investor in Los Angeles. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Ziosoft's medical imaging software helps doctors better analyze CT and MRI scans.
