Apax Partners Buys Telenor Satellite Services

Private equity firm Apax Partners is acquiring Norway-based Telenor Satellite Services, a provider of satellite communications services, in a deal worth $400M. Apax said that Apax Partners France will pay NOK 2,640M for the firm from Telenor. Telenor provides VSAT satellite communications services to clients worldwide, and had revnues of $376.9M in 2005, and revenues of $285.7M for the first nine months of 2006.
