Auxogyn Gets $18M For Women's Health
Menlo Park-based Auxogyn, a developer of health testing technology to test the viability of embryos during in vitro fertilization (IVF), has raised $18M in a Series B funding round, the company said today. The round was led by SR One, and also included prior investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, TPG Biotech and Merck Serono Ventures. Auxogyn's tests is being applied to help improve the outcome of IVF, to better select embryos for the procedure. Simeon J. George of SR One and Nilesh Kumar of Merck Serono Ventures have joined the company's board with the funding. More information »
