Avaya Acquires Spoken Communications For AI Contact Center Software
Santa Clara-based Avaya said this morning that it has acquired Seattle-based Spoken Communications, a provider of artificial inteligence-driven contact center services and software. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Avaya said that it will use Spoken's artificial intelligence and other intellectual property to help it as it moves into big data, machine learning, and AI. Spoken was venture backed by Ignition Partners, Riverwood Capital, and others.
