BARRX Medical Gets $15M
Sunnyvale-based BARRX Medical, a developer of treatments for Barrett's esophagas, a precancerous condition of the esophagus, said today that it has raised $15M in a Series D funding round. The round was led by Highland Capital Partners, and also included prior investors Delphi Ventures, Alloy Ventures, Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures, Greenspring Associates and others. The firm said the funding will go towards expanding its technology into new disease states and into new international markets. Teh firm specifically said it will focus on expansion into Latin America and Asia for its technology. More information »
