Brocade Buys IT Consulting Firm

San Jose-based storage area networking hardware provide Brocade said today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Strategic Business Systems (SBS), a provider of IT professional services based in Herndon, Virginia. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Broacde, the acquisition will expand its professional services offerings. Strategic Business Systems provides IT consulting services to commercial and federal government customers, with offerings in storage, servers, security, networking, and virtualization.
