G2 Microsystems Gets $14M in Series B

Campbell-based G2 Microsystems, a company that develops ICs for asset tracking and telemetry, has raised a $14M Series B round. G2 said today that the funding came from previous investor Siemens Venture Capital, and also included Deutsche Bank Capital Partners, Starfish Ventures, and UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund. The funding also included the participation of its angel investors. G2 develops asset tracking and monitoring chips targeted at healthcare, automotive, transportaiton, and other industries.
