HP Buys Eucalyptus For Cloud Management

HP said Thursday afternoon that it has acquired Eucalyptus, a developer of open source software for managing private and hybrid cloud deployments. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Eucalyptus is backed by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), Benchmark Capital, BV Capital, and New Enterprise Associates.
