Cisco Buys CliQr For $260M

San Jose-based Cisco Systems said this morning that it is acquiring CliQr, a developer of cloud migration tools, in a deal worth $260M in cash and assumed equity. CliQr was based in Santa Clara, and will become part of Cisco's Insieme Business Unit. Cisco said the buy helps to bolsters its private, public cloud, and hybrid cloud management capability.
