IDT Divests Video Processing Products

San Jose-based Integrated Device Technology has divested two video processing product lines, selling them to Qualcomm. According to IDT and Qualcomm, IDT is transferring the design team of its Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) and Frame Rate Conversion (FRC) video processing product lines to Qualcomm, in an all-cash deal. Financial behind the sale were not disclosed. The two also said that they will explore opportunities to include IDT's mixed signal semiconductors in Qualcomm's reference designs.
