LinkedIn Hires Levy as Corporate Development VP

Professional networking service LinkedIn Corp. reported Wednesday that it has hired Ellen Levy as vice president of corporate development and strategy. The Mountain View, Calif.-based business said Levy has been with the company since its founding, serving as an advisory board member for the past five years. In her new role, LinkedIn said, Levy will oversee business development, manage strategic partnerships and evaluate new market opportunities. Before joining LinkedIn, she worked as the director of industry collaboration and research at Media X. She also has been a network advisor at Draper Fisher Jurvetson and been deputy chair of global health for the Cliton Global Initiative.
