Marketbright Acquired By Act-On Software

San Bruno-based Marketbright, a developer of marketing automation software, has been acquired by fellow online marketing firm Act-On Software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Marketbright was venture backed by Greycroft Partners and Knight's Bridge Capital Partners. Act-On Software is a developer of integrated marketing software, and is also venture backed by Trinity Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners, Voyager Capital, and Cisco.
