Polaris Wireless Taps Schoenfield As Sales VP
Santa Clara-based Polaris Wireless, which develops software-based wireless location technology, said this morning that it has hired Robert Schoenfield as its Vice President of Sales for North America. Polaris, which is venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Draper Richards, and Centre Palisades Ventures, said that Schoenfield joins from Aeris Communications. Schoenfield has also served at Tetra Tech. Polaris develops wireless location information to carriers, particularly from non-GPS enabled cell phones, allowing those carriers to meet E911 requirements.
