Salesforce Buys Secure Authentication Startup Toopher
San Francisco-based Salesforce.com has acquired Toopher, a developer of two-factor authentication software for mobile phones, according to Toopher. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Toopher said it will stop selling its current products as part of the acquisition, and will work on products for Salesforce's cloud. Toopher had raised around $2M in funding from Alsop Louie, Stonehenge Growth Capital, Corsa Ventures, and others.
