Savvion Purchased By Progress Software

Santa Clara-based Savvion, a developer of business process management software, has been acquired by Progress Software, Progress aid this morning. Progress said it paid approximately $49M, net of cash acquired, for Savvion. Savvion develops business process management software for automating the operations of businesses.
