SocialCast Acquired By VMware

San Francisco-based Socialcast, a developer of enterprise social networking tools, has been acquired by VMware, the firms said Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Socialcast was venture backed by Baseline Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and True Ventures.
