Redfern Integrated Optics Raises $7M

Santa Clara-based Redfern Integrated Optics has raised $7M in funding, the firm said Tuesday. The funding came from TMT Ventures, Tallwood Venture Capital and Jolimont Capital. Redfern is a developer of low-cost, high-performance optical transmitters for the telecommunications market. As part fo the funding, Teresa Engelhard of Jolimont will join the firm's board.
