Cavium Networks Files For IPO
Mountain View-based Cavium Networks, a provider of semiconductors for the networking and communications market, has filed for an IPO. Cavium said in a filing Tuesday night that it is looking to raise up to $86.25M on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol CAVM. The IPO is being underwritten by Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Thomas Weisel Partners, Needham & Company, and JMP Securities. Cavium is venture backed by Menlo Ventures, NeoCarta Ventures, Diamondhead Ventures, Alliance Ventures, and others.
