Google Inks State Government Deals
Mountain View-based Google has partnered with four states to make it easier for their citizens to search for public information, the company said Sunday evening. Google said that it has partnered with Arizona, California, Utah, and Virginia to improve accessibility of their online services. Google said it has increased the amount of state information accessible through Google, including adding job listings, online historical archives, and other information. The deal also calls for Utah and Virginia to feature Google's Custom Search feature to provide search capabilities on their respective web sites.
