Intevac Acquires Micro-Display Manufacturer

Santa Clara-based Intevac said today that it has acquired Creative Display Systems, LLC, a Carlsbad, California-based developer of near-eye display technology. Financial details of the asset acquisition were not released. Intevac said that Creative Display Systems specializes in high-performance micro-display products for near-eye and portable applications. Creative Display Systems will become a unit of Intevac.
