Emergence Capital Adds EIR

San Mateo-based venture capital firm Emergence Capital Partners said today that it has added Matt Holleran as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Holleran joins the firm from Salesforce.com, where he was in charge of its AppExchange partner program. Holleran has previously served as CEO of Apexon, and served at atasweep and Clarify. Emergence Capital Partners invests in software-as-a-service, business services, consumer Internet, and other information services firms. The firm has over $325M in assets under management.
