Emergence Capital Partners Names Venture Partner

San Mateobased Emergence Capital Partners announced Thursday that it has named Richard Yanowitch as a venture partner at the firm. Yanowitch is founder of The Entrepreneurs Group, and recently was venture partner at Accel Partners. Yanowitch has also served at NDS Group, and was a consultant at News Corporation reporting to Rupert Murdoch. Emergence Capital said that Yanowitch has also served at Sybase.
