Callidus Software Acquires Compensation Technologies

San Jose-based Callidus Software said Monday that it has acquired Compensation Technologies, a provider of services for managing incentive compensation processes. Callidus said it will pay $8.3M plus up to $4.8M in earn out for the firm. Both firms provide sales compensation tracking as software-as-a-service (SaaS). The companies' systems are used for setting sales quotas, managing incentives, and sales compensation.
