Silver Peak Gets $21M For WAN Acceleration
Santa Clara-based Silver Peak Systems has raised $21M in a Series D round, the firm said Tuesday. Silver Peak, which develops wide area network (WAN) acceleration appliances, said the funding came from Artis Capital Management, Benchmark Capital, Duff Ackerman and Goodrich LLC, Greylock Partners, J. & W. Seligman & Co, and Pinnacle Ventures. The firm said the funding will go towards working capital, for expansion of engineering, sales, marketing, and support. The firm last raised a round in January of 2007 from the same set of investors. More information »
