Pano Logic Riases $12M
Menlo Park-based Pano Logic is announcing today that it has raised $12M in a Series B funding round, led by Goldman Sachs. Other investors in the round include ComVentures and Foundation Capital. Pano Logic develops desktop virtualization technology, used for the deployment of thin clients. The firm sells a hardware device which provides USB, monitor, and other hardware connections to virtualized Windows XP or Vista instances at a virtual server. According to a spokesperson at the firm, the company will use the funding to accelerate product development, expand sales and marketing efforts, and secure additional channel/SI partners to address the midmarket.
