5AM Ventures Expands Team

Menlo Park-based venture capital firm 5AM Ventures said today that it has added a new venture partner and promoted two of its senior associates. 5AM, which invests in early stage life science companies, said Richard Ulevitch, PhD, has been added as Venture Partner. The firm also said that Kevin M. Forrest, PhD and R. Andrew McMillan, PhD have both been promoted from senior associate to Principal. Ulevitch joins from The Scripps Research Institute; Forrest and McMillan have both been at the firm since early 2005. 5AM also said that founder and Principal Carin M. Rollins has transitioned to a consulting role with the company.
