Yahoo, MLB Ink Video and Advertising Partnership

Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! and MLB Advanced Media, the interactive media arm of Major League Baseball, said Thursday morning that the two have signed a three-year, video and advertising partnership. According to the firms, the deal includes access to out-of-market MLB games on Yahoo's Sports property. MLB said that the agreement calls for MLB.TV's 2,400 out-of-market Major League Baseball games to be available through Yahoo! Sports, and for Yahoo! to manage the online advertising sales for MLB.TV. Yahoo! Sports will also get access to MLB.com's FastCast, its highlights reel of the previous day's worth of games along with other unspecified MLB.com video content. Financial terms of the partnership were not announced
