Salesforce.com Ties Into Google Data API
San Francisco-based CRM software provider Salesforce.com said today that it has linked into Google's data APIs, as part of its Force.com offering. According to Salesforce.com, the strategic alliance with Google allows developers to connect from its Force.com services into Google's application programming interfaces for interacting with its services. The new Force.com Toolkit for Google Data APIs will be available for free to its developers. The main feature of the toolkit is support for Force.com's proprietary Apex language; the API currently supports Google's spreadsheet, document, and calendar applications.
