Doubleclick's Affiliate Operations Renamed Google Affiliate Network

Doubleclick Performices Affiliate, the affiliate marketing arm of DoubleClick, announced Monday in an email to customers that the firm has become the Google Affiliate Network. Google, which said that it will sell DoubleClick's Performics Search operations to a third party in April, said that the new branding is a part of an effort to quickly assimilate the business and teams of the firms. The firm said that it will roll out new changes to the services' user interface to reflect the new brand, and that it will eventually migrate the firm's platform to a google.com product URL.
