YouSendIt Receives $14M

Campbell-based YouSendIt, which operates an online service that allows users to send and receive large files, has scored $14M in a Series C round of financing, the firm said today. The round came from new investor Emergence Capital, and also include prior investors Sigma Partners, Alloy Ventures, Sevin Rosen Funds and Cambrian Ventures. YouSendIt said it would use the funding to expand its customer base and fund new development. Brian Jacobs of Emergence Capital has joined the firm's board along with the funding.
