SocialMedia Networks Gains $6M

San Francisco-based SocialMedia Networks, a social media advertising network, said Friday that it raised $6M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by IDG Ventures SF, and also included Charles River Ventures. SocialMedia's ad network runs within Facebook, Bebo, Hi5, and MySpace. The firm said its initial round was raised through the Charles River Ventures QuickStart program, which funds seed stage startups. More information »
