Telsima Acquired By Harris Stratex Networks

Sunnyvale-based Telsima Corporation, a developer of WiMax networking products, has been acquired by Harris Stratex Networks, Harris said this week. According to Harris Stratex, it paid $12M in cash for Telsima, whose products are used for the broadband wireless market. Telsima had raised well north of $70M in funding from CMEA Ventures, JAFCO Asia, New Enterprise Associates, and New Path Ventures. Harris Stratex Networks is based in Research Triangle, North Carolina.
