Zmanda Links Into Sun Cloud

San Francisco-based Zmanda, a developer of open source backup and recovery software, reported today that its product, Zmanda Recovery Manager for MySQL, now supports backup into Sun's cloud storage service. Zmanda said the offering will connect into Sun's upcoming Sun Cloud Storage Service. The firm's product already supports backup into Amazon's S3 storage services. The firm is backed by BlueRun Ventures, Canaan Partners, and Helion Venture Partners.
