Yahoo Extends Mobile Sites

Yahoo! is reporting this morning that the firm is extending the company's mobile site into nine additional countries, saying it is now supporting localized versions of the service in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Italy. The new mobile sites bring the firm's total, localized list of mobile sites to 17 countries. Yahoo's mobile sites provide access to Yahoo's services through HTML-enabled, mobile browsers, including access to its search, email, instant messaging, and other content.
