Flickr Shows Nearby Photos On Mobile Site

Flickr, the photo sharing and photography-focused social networking site owned by Yahoo, said Thursday that the site has rolled out the ability to find photos taken near a particular place, on smartphones like the iPhone and Android-based phones. According to Flickr, the new feature--Mobile Nearby--allows iPhone 3.0 and Android smart phones to figure out where a phone is in the world, and show photos taken in the same area.
