Yahoo Buys Xoopit

Yahoo said late Wednesday that it is buying Xoopit, a developer of software which makes it easier to send and receive photos via email. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Xoopit's software is available as and add-on to Google's Gmail and Yahoo Mail. Xoopit was venture backed by Accel Partners and Foundation Capital.
