Booyah Downloads $5M

Palo Alto-based Booyah, a maker of iPhone and iTouch games, has raised $5M in a new round of funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm today. No details on the funding have been announced. The firm has previously raised capital from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Booyah launched its app in the iPhone store in July, and was founded by execs from Blizzard Entertainment, Activision and Insomniac Games. The firm's CEO is Keith Lee. More information »
