SiBeam Gets Backing From Best Buy

Sunnyvale-based SiBeam, a developer of wireless communications semiconductors, said today that it has received an equity investment from Best Buy. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. SiBeam develops CMOS chipsets used to transmit high definition vidoe, audio, and data. SiBeam has previously raised cpaital from Foundation Capital, NEA, USVP, Panasonic, and Samsung. More information »
