OmniVision Buys Aurora Systems

Santa Clara-based OmniVision Technologies, a developer of CMOS image sensors, said today that it has completed its acquisition of Aurora Systems, a supplier of LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) devices for mobile projectors and home theater. The deal was worth $5.0M. OmniVision said it does not expect the acquisition to have a significant impact on its revenues or net income per share.
