Intel Invests In Sulfurcell
Intel is the lead investor in a German developer of CIGS thin-film solar modules, Sulfurcell, Sulfurcell said today. According to Sulfurcell, it has raised $25M in funding for the expansion and market introduction of its thin film photovoltaic technology. The funding was led by Intel Capital, and also included Climate Change Capital Private Equity (London), Bankinvest Group (Copenhagen), Zouk Ventures (London), Masdar Clean Tech Investments (New York), Demeter (Paris), Vattenfall Europe (Berlin), GdF Suez (Berlin/Paris), Ventegis Capital AG, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and others.
