McAfee Buys Sentrigo

Santa Clara-based security software firm McAfee said this morning that it is buying database security firm Sentrigo. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Sentrigo is a provider of database security, compliance, assessment, monitoring, and intrusion prevention software. Sentrigo was based in Israel, and backed by Benchmark Capital. The firm was headed by Nathan Schuchami. Sentrigo becomes part of McAfee's Risk & Compliance business unit.
