Google's Blogger Goes Offline

Google's online blog site, Blogger, went offline Thursday evening, in what Google said was a 20.5 hour outage. Google said that the downtime came as a result of scheduled maintenance work Wednesday night, which caused data corruption at the service. Google said that it had to return Blogger to its "pre-maintenance state" Thursday, which resulted in the temporary removal of posts; the firm said it is in the process of restoring those posts.
