National Semiconductor Acquisition By TI Complete

Santa Clara-based National Semiconductor is now officially part of Texas Instruments, TI announced this morning. TI had announced its acquisition of National Semiconductor in April, saying it would pay $6.5 billion in cash for the company. Texas Instruments said it has added more than 5,000 National employees to the company as part of the acquisition.
