Cisco Buys BNI Video

San Jose-based Cisco said this morning that it has acquired BNI Video, a developer of video back-office and content delivery network (CDN) technology. Cisco said it would pay $99M in cash and retention-based incentives for BNI Video, which is based in Boxborough, Mass. BNI Video was venture backed by Comcast Ventures and Time Warner Cable, as well as Cisco.
