Cisco Buys Acano For $700M

San Jose-based Cisco said Friday that it has agreed to acquire Acano Limited, a UK-based developer of collaboration infrastructure and conferencing software. Cisco said it would pay $700M in cash and assumed equity awards for Acano. Acano's products allow customers to connect video systems from multiple vendors across both cloud and hybrid environments, according to Cisco.
