Facebook's Saverin Boosts Mobile Barcode Scanning Firm
Eduardo Saverin, the co-founder of Facebook, is the lead investor in a developer of mobile barcode scanning and price comparison software, ShopSavvy, the firm said today. ShopSavvy said it raised $7M from Saverin, which also included Brad Martin (Saks Fifth Avenue), and James Bailey. ShopSavvy is based in Dallas, Texas.
