Facebook Co-Founder Saverin Re-Ups On Silvercar

Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin has put more backing behind an up-and-coming, tech-centric car rental service, Silvercar. According to Silvercar, it has raised $28M in a Series C funding round, which came from Audi, Austin Ventures, and Saverin. Silvercar offers up premium car rentals of black Audi sedans as part of its service, with many on-demand features, built in Wi-Fi and other features of its cars that cater to tech-savvy customers. The company is based in Austin, Texas. Saverin is an existing investor in Silvercar. More information »
