Stretch Reaches $5.0M In Series C
Sunnyvale-based Stretch, a developer of reconfigurable processors for the high speed video and imaging processing market, has raised $5.0M, the first part of an ongoing Series C funding round. The details of the funding were disclosed via a regulatory filing this week. The filing indicates the round is targeted at $7.4M. No details on the funding have been announced by the company. Stretch is venture backed by Menlo Ventures, Oak Investment Partners, and Worldview Technology Partners. Stretch's software reconfigurable processors make it possible for electronics designers to implement compute intensive algorithms in hardware, rather than having to either implement those on a DSP (digital signal processor), on an expensive FPGA or long lead time ASIC.
