CrowdStrike Lands $26M

San Francisco-based CrowdStrike, a stealth mode, security software firm headed by former McAfee CTO George Kurtz, said today that it has raised $26M in a funding round. Kurtz announced the new company on his blog, saying the firm will help enterprises and governments protect their most sensitive intellectual property and national security information. The investment came from Warburg Pincus, where Kurtz had bene serving as an EIR. The firm was cofounded by Kurtz along with Dmitri Alperovitch (CTO) and Gregg Marston (CFO).
